"I concentrate on capturing high definition film of underwater aquatic wildlife and related biodiversity. When filming in marine environments this not only includes underwater life but seabirds and any animal that lives on the water's surface. In my feature length films I usually take between one and three years to complete. This includes seasonality, night and day time above and below water observation of behaviour. I spend many hours lying in the one position underwater. I hope that my films continue to educate and contriubte to our understanding of the Aquatic world. I also hope to create the largest underwater biodiverse digital media archive in Ireland, so far 20 years."

I make two kinds of film a) feature length and b) short format. Feature length varies from 1 hour to 3 hours and usually involves many years filming before edit and final production. In short format I combine my poetry, music composition and narrative to tell a story.

SHORT FILM Sunfish Hunters. Tells the sorty of a group of scientists catching and tracking Sunfish off Kerry's Atlantic coast in order to better understand their movements.

This is the first time these fish have been filmed in Irish Waters.
