25/June/2008 - Iveragh Sea - Atlantic Journey (parts 1 and 2)
Just released on HD Blueray disc, parts one and two of Iveragh Sea mark the first Irish art/wildlife film to be released in high definition and marks another milestone for the award-winning digital media artist. Part 1 "In Search of Plenty" follows the lives of Common Dolphins as they travel through the Iveragh Sea. With original score, poetry and film by Vinny this film gives an amazing sense of freedom and moves the viewer in a deeply spiritual way. Part 2 "Trapped" tells the harrowing tale of a Atlantic Salmon trapped in a net and serves as a message of hope for future generations struggling to survive in our rivers and seas.
20/June/2008 - New digital prints released
A set of digital prints celebrating the marine life of Kerry has just been released by Vinny. Created and drawn electronically by vincent these prints represent the first of a series of digital prints to be produced by Vincent.
10/June/2008 - Successful Filming of Basking Sharks off Valentia
Amazing Basking Shark and related behaviour captured on HDV. Filming off Valentia aboard the M.V. Atlantic Explorer (www.kerrrymarinetours.com) with up to 20 Baskers in the vicinity. Numerous biological and behavioural aspects were captured on film. Close up shots of feeding, plankton blooms, marking on body, remoras (shark cleaner fish) and Mackerel scattering out of the way of Basking shark were recorded. All will be revealed in the forthcoming film - Marine life of Kerry (filmed in HDV).
