[click here]	I came across John's work first as a photographer of Lighthouses. Being familiar with the sea I was instantly hooked into the intrigue that surrounds the man and his work. Then I discovered that he also paints - and all this before I made the move to Kerry. Click here to access John's Website	I was familiar with the land and seascape of the Beara Peninsula, my experience garnered over many forays into this beautifully rugged part of Ireland. I had spent years looking over to Dursey, the Cow and Bull Rocks from the Derrynane, Co. Kerry side in wonderment at such monuments to the natural world. Tthis is the essence of Johns magnetic paintings - testaments to both his own journey and experiences of living in and amongst these surroundings. Then I met the man, informally for coffee in Killarney and the intrigue was further heightened. Here is a man full of passion for his art.
